Shipdham is easily accessed by road from many locations like Norwich, Dereham, Newmarket, Cambridge (where I used to travel from regularly) and even further afield. The great location in the beautiful county of Norfolk allows for plenty of picturesque short trips. There is pleny of uncontrolled airspace around Shipdham and often it is possible to obtain transit via Norwich airspace, thus flight planning is not demanding and there are plenty of opportunities for a soaring flight.

Belonging to the G-BUEK syndicate requires also membership in Shipdham Airclub which is about 200 pounds a year.
